Chengdu Heavy Tech Co., Ltd. was founded in 1952. Its predecessor was a state-owned enterprise that was designated by the Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Water Resources to produce small and medium-sized hydroelectric generating sets. In the early 1990s, due to the government's reform, it became a private enterprise. In 2026, it fully opened up the international market and established Heavytech, marking an important step for the enterprise brand to move towards internationalization.
Heavy-Tech is a manufacturer and global supplier specializing in micro hydropower. Leveraging its profound historical foundation, Heavy-Tech integrates design, research and development, production, sales, and service. Its customers are spread across 60 countries and regions worldwide. After obtaining the IS09001 quality management system certification, we still adhere to the rigorous work style formed over many years in the hydroelectric generator set industry, cherish and value the rich experience accumulated in the production of hydro turbines over several decades, and continuously increase investment in technical strength and equipment, focusing on the production and manufacturing of hydroelectric generator sets, auxiliary equipment for power stations, the production and manufacturing, repair, and capacity expansion and renovation of various types of power stations of flow components.
